Tired, heavy eyes
Your eyes work overtime against an unstable tear film, and by evening it shows.
For Aura patients · The dry eye series
If drops, warm washcloths, and "just drink more water" never fixed it, nothing is wrong with you. The treatment was aimed at the wrong problem. In five short videos, Dr. Tran shows you what is actually happening in your eyes, and what finally works.

Understanding dry eye
Healthy tears are sealed by a microscopically thin layer of oil, made by tiny glands in your eyelids with every blink. When those glands clog, tears evaporate faster than your eyes can make them. That is most dry eye, and it is why adding more water from a bottle never fixed it.
Your eyes work overtime against an unstable tear film, and by evening it shows.
The signature of tears evaporating too fast and leaving the surface exposed.
Irritation along the lid margins, often with a constant urge to rub.
A classic sign: each blink briefly smooths the tear film, then it breaks apart again.
Chronic surface irritation keeps the blood vessels dilated and visible.
A rough tear surface scatters light instead of focusing it.
Dry eye is progressive. Oil glands that stay blocked slowly waste away, and glands you lose rarely come back. Finding the cause early protects the glands you still have.
Video 2
Along each eyelid sit dozens of meibomian glands, releasing a thin layer of oil with every blink. When they clog, your tears evaporate too fast, and your eyes burn, itch, and tire by evening. You cannot see any of this in a mirror, but it shows up clearly on our gland imaging.
Video 3
Blocked glands, inflammation, demodex mites, or low tear production: different causes need different treatment. Your 45-minute assessment images your tear film and glands, and you see everything on screen with Dr. Tran. You leave knowing exactly what is driving your symptoms and what it costs to fix.
Video 4
Radio Frequency and Intense Pulsed Light unblock the glands and calm the inflammation that drops can only mask, supported by a complete toolkit matched to your cause. The goal is not more drops. It is your eyes producing their own healthy tears again.
Video 5
Comfortable contacts again. Screens without the burn. Mornings that do not start with drops. Results build over a treatment series rather than overnight, and every plan is tracked visit by visit so you can see your progress.
When you're ready
Radio Frequency and Intense Pulsed Light clear blocked glands and calm inflammation at the source. Your plan is matched to what your imaging shows, with one goal: eyes that make their own healthy tears again.

Controlled heat delivered deep into the eyelid tissue liquifies the hardened oils inside blocked meibomian glands, restoring normal oil flow and stabilizing the tear film.

Precise light pulses reduce the inflammation and abnormal blood vessels that contribute to dry eye, stimulate gland function, and reduce bacterial load on the eyelids.

After heat therapy softens the hardened oil, we gently express the meibomian glands to clear the blockage, immediately improving the quality of your tears.
