How much does an exam cost?
A comprehensive exam with retinal scan is $149 self-pay — and we accept most major vision and medical insurance plans. See our full pricing page for details.
How long does the exam take?
Plan for about 45–60 minutes. We don't rush — imaging, testing, and a real conversation about your findings are all part of the visit.
Will I be dilated?
When it's clinically indicated, yes — though our imaging often reduces the need. If dilated, expect a few hours of light sensitivity.
How often should I get an exam?
Annually for most adults — more often with diabetes, glaucoma risk, or existing conditions. Kids should start young and stay on schedule.
Do you see children?
Absolutely — we're a family practice, and Dr. Tran is wonderful with young patients (finger puppets included).
